Overview

RapidCall can send HTTP POST requests to your server when events happen. Configure a webhook URL in your agent settings or workspace settings.

Setting up webhooks

  1. Go to Agent > Settings > Webhooks
  2. Enter your webhook URL (must be HTTPS)
  3. Select which events to receive
  4. Click Save

Events

call.started

Fired when a call begins (agent connects to the room).

call.ended

Fired when a call ends. Includes outcome, duration, cost, and transcript.

call.transferred

Fired when the agent transfers the call to a human.

Retry policy

If your server returns a non-2xx status code, RapidCall retries the webhook:
  • 1st retry: 10 seconds
  • 2nd retry: 60 seconds
  • 3rd retry: 5 minutes
After 3 failed retries, the webhook is logged and skipped.

Verifying webhooks

Each webhook includes a X-RapidCall-Signature header containing an HMAC-SHA256 signature. Verify it using your webhook secret (available in Settings).

Testing webhooks

Use the Test Webhook button in agent settings to send a sample payload to your URL. You can also use services like webhook.site for testing.
