Every call in RapidCall automatically generates two assets:
  • a full audio recording,
  • and a timestamped text transcript.
Both are available in the Call Detail Panel. To access them, open Call History and click on any call row.

Recordings

The recording can be played directly in the browser or downloaded as an audio file. This makes it easy to review conversations, share examples internally, audit agent behaviour, or investigate specific calls in detail.

Transcripts

The transcript shows the full conversation in text form, with timestamps attached to each speaker’s lines. This allows you to move quickly through the call and jump straight to the exact moment something important happened, without having to listen to the entire recording from the beginning.

Why they matter

Call recordings and transcripts are some of the most valuable tools on the platform. Dashboards tell you whether performance is moving up or down. Recordings and transcripts tell you why. They show:
  • exactly what the agent said,
  • how the contact responded,
  • where the conversation lost momentum,
  • where objections were handled well or badly,
  • and where the flow needs to be improved.
Teams that regularly review a small number of calls each day usually improve their agents faster than teams that rely only on summary metrics. Listening to real conversations is one of the fastest ways to identify weak openings, awkward phrasing, missing handlers, and broken logic.

Best practice

Review recordings and transcripts consistently, not only when something goes wrong. A simple habit such as listening to 5 to 10 calls per day can surface issues early and lead to much stronger agents over time.
